Customize Greeting inside an App

Hello,

I just want to ask if there is a way to customize greetings in an app depending on the time of the day. Like before 12PM if anyone accesses the app it says "Good Morning [User]" and so on depending on the time. Any predefined formula available? Will really appreciate your help.

Regards,

Arslan

Hi @Anonymous

You can use the Now() function to get the current time and the Hour function to extract the hour.

Hence something like this in the text property of a text box:

If(Hour(Now())<12, "Good morning, ", Hour(Now())<17, "Good afternoon, ", "Good evening, ")&User().FullName
