DPL issue in powerapps with office365user

Hi Mates,

As per requirement a text box requires to display current login user (who open app), the moment when i added office365connector it shows below error.

Today I just tried to add Office365Users connector in Powerapps but i can see this error is this because of DLP ..?

So far I just understand DLP issue is only on PowerAutomate, but same issue in powerapps as well. yes i am using SQL for data source.

is there any work around solution to use office365users connector

your reply would be appreciate.

Hi @kmk

The only fix for this is to modify your DLP policy (or to ask your adminstrator to do this), so that the Office365Connector and the SQL Server connector are in the same group (eg, the business group).

As this is a security feature, there's no simple workaround for this.

It used to be the case that when we added connectors to an app and the DLP was changed afterwards, it would not apply retrospectively to published apps. Microsoft are in the process of changing this behaviour, so there is likely to be greater incidences of these sorts of errors in the months to come.
