Data Source Invalid Error

I have a form built that is connected to a Common Data Service entity. It's been working in the past, but recently I'm starting to recieve an error when I go to submit the form whe running the app on my Iphone. When I enter information and hit submit, a message pops up reading "There was a propblem saving your changes. The data source may be invalid." The form resets and I lose all the data I entered. If I re-enter the data and submit the form again after recieving this message, it runs smoothly and the data is recorded in the CDS entity. Is there a way I can fix this problem so the people using my app don't need to submit every form twice?

Re: Data Source Invalid Error

Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please try to reproduce this issue again with your Mobile Device, and then share your Session ID here?

Session ID could be found under:

Top Left AppDetails (=) -> Session Details

Besides, does this issue also exist when working with PowerApps Studio in Desktop, or the Web version?

Further, please take a try with the errors function to check for the error details:

Errors function in PowerApps

Re: Data Source Invalid Error

@v-micsh-msft

It is very consistent on the phone, happeneing every instance.

Session ID : 4c11cf21-2359-192b-a166-04961291f292.

When I run the app on the web view, there is no validation error, but it does take a long time to submit a form. Running it in Dynamics 365 produces the same error as on the phone. I considered running a validate funciton when the page loads or at least doing an initial submit in the background because the second time submit is pressed, it works. The only issue is that the error message would still show up and confuse any user.

Re: Data Source Invalid Error

I also noticed that some of my functions that worked previosly are no longer functional.

When I hover over this funciton, it just says 'An Unknown Error Occured', so I don't know what to fix/how to fix it
