Data Table columns getting de-selected

I added several Data Tables in my App and to my consternation, every now and then when running th App, the Data Tables show empty. When trying to trouble shoot, I discovered that while the Data Table is connected to the SP List DataSource, no columns are selected.

I have selected and saved the columns many tmes but yet this keeps happening again and again.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks.

Hi UB400,

I am not able to reproduce this issue on my side.

According to your description, I created a connection to SharePoint list, then set the DataTable control’s item property as the SharePoint list. Then select columns from right hand pane.

Save and reopen the app, all the selected columns are shown on the table without issues.

Could you please try again with it?

Do you have many special settings on the app or the data source?

Best regards,
Mabel Mao

@v-yamao-msft Thank you for your reply. I don't think anything else in the App could be affecting this, the App is quite large and has lots of Screens.

The DataTables in question, are using a simple Filter to select Data, of the four Data Tables I'm using, only one is retaining the assigned Columns, the other three show no columns selected.

If I save and close the App, and open it again, it works. But after some days, the columns are de-selected, and I have the same problem again.

Very frustrating, for now I'm removing the Data Tables.
