Hi @Anonymous,

Do you mean the save button won't update the data in Excel table?

If here you are working with the EditForm control, then it is recommended to get start from the article below:

Understand data forms in Microsoft PowerApps

Basically, the submitform function would update the data into the table configrued with the data source property of the form control.

Please verify the data source is correctly configured.

For more information about the other aspects of the form control, please check with the article I shared above.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to post back.

Regards,

Michael

When I submit the form all other info gets transfered to excel except Date/ time.  Cell is blank.

The DateTime field must be set to "Edit date/time" before it can be sent to Excel.

If "Edit date/time" is selected, you will be able to see an "Update" field. This is the data that will be sent to Excel.

If you select "View text" there will not be an "Update" field which means no data will be sent to Excel.

If you want to display a date/time, but do not want it to be editable, you can add 2 feilds, One "Edit date/time"  and the other "Veiw text." You can then set "Visible" = false on the "Edit date/time" field.

It was in Edit mode.  I just want to be able to record the date that the form was submitted. Is there another way to do that that might work better?
