Data from SharePoint lists not loading sometimes

I am building a simple app which mostly pulls data from a couple of simple SharePoint lists (text, numbers, etc). It was all working well until today when I started seeing this error message:

"Failed to load [data source]. The specified record was not found." where [data source] is a SharePoint list.

The thing is that it happens only intermittently - maybe 2-3 times out of 10. What could be causing this?

We have mitigated this issue from our side. Can you please try again and let us know if you still experience errors?

Also, I want to apologize that it took us long to detect and mitigate this problem. Thanks for your suggestions on communicating status. We are working on a plan to communicate more detailed status. We will share out details on this soon.

I'm also having similar issues.

I even tried to create basic powerApp from O365 Sharepoint Online list. Originally created through wizard nothing added, when play, nothing appears in the browser other than empty screen. This is for all Display_Screen, Edit_Screen and Browse_Screen.

I see occasional connectivity errors too.

MS are you serious with this?

powerapps have so much potential

first slow load, no external sharing, no working with sharepoint doc libraries and submitting photos, slow loading sharepoint list content...

changing the list content into excel and uploading to dropbox and it works....

you will lose customers this way...

Same here.. first happend on thursday evening. Our customer cannot use the app we built until this is fixed. Only ~30% of submitted data is written to SharePoint. When refreshen the SP data sources in PA Studio sometimes there's a data source not found error.. Very annoying..

Hi all,

Apologize for the inconvenience you have encountered.

Could you please share the Session ID when this error occurred? Which could be helpful for further investigation.

I will forward this from my side, and will reply back once I got any response.

I did some investigation and found that any PowerApps environment hosted in EU region are having problem to connect to SharePoint. I created another environment in Asia region and tested the same scenario and everything works perfectly fine.

Hi all,

I have one question not connected directly to this particular issue but can be helpful in similar occasions. Obviously there must be some issue related to powerapps with connections to SharePoint. Is there some place where status for the powerapps connections can be seen?

On the first page on powerapps support there is only message that everything is working fine.

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/support/

Similar status all healthy also appear on service health page on O365 Admin console.

This status is good enough while we are testing powerapps functionalities but when we start to share prepared apps with our colleagues it would be nice to have some place where working status for different connectors is reflected.

(especially when some apps are working smoothly one day and then suddenly stops next day without any obvious reason)

Message can be for example degraded service if there is something under investigation. If there is not any status change than we as users can assume that this is normal status?

Based on my current experience I didn’t find proper place where to look for similar status so I tried to ask here.

Regards.
