Data input to collection gallery not showing

Hi all,

I'm trying to create an estimating tool to help our team based on a repeating table video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgznk4XlPCo

I have my buton on the home screen set to  - NewForm(Form5);ClearCollect(EstimateCollection,{EstimateNo: "",MaterialType: "",Size: "",Supplier: "",MaterialID: "",MaterialRequired: "",Weight: "",Cost: ""});Navigate(screestimatev2)

so this creates the collection columns?!

I can fill my first line as below 2020-06-16 07_52_16-Steel - Tablet - Saved (Unpublished) - Power Apps.png

The tick icon is set to -

Patch(EstimateCollection,ThisItem,{EstimateNo: lblestno.Text,MaterialType: ddmaterialtype.Selected.Value,Size: ddsize.Selected.Size,Supplier: ddsupplier.Selected.Supplier,MaterialID: lblmatid.Text,MaterialRequired: amntreq.Text,Weight: lblweight.Text,Cost: lblcost.Text});Collect(EstimateCollection,{EstimateNo: "",MaterialType: "",Size: "",Supplier: "",MaterialID: "",MaterialRequired: "",Weight: "",Cost: ""})

So patch that line to the collection, and create the next row ready in my gallery?!

The problem is when i press the tick ,my gallery (which is the collection) doesn't show the options selected/ input - if i check the collection - the data is there though - any ideas why this is the case?

Thank you

Hi @PPSA ,

Do you mean that you could update your collection correctly, but data in gallery could not display correctly?

If so, could you show me the settings of your gallery?

I assume that the gallery's Items is EstimateCollection.

Then if you want  controls display correct data, you need to set their default to ThisItem.fieldname.

For example:

MaterialType drop down's Default:

ThisItem.MaterialType

Size drop down's Default:

ThisItem.Size

Supplier drop down's Default:

ThisItem.Supplier

MaterialRequired drop down's Default:

ThisItem.MaterialRequired

MaterialID Label's Text:

ThisItem.MaterialID

Weight Label's Text:

ThisItem.Weight

Cost Label's Text:

ThisItem.Cost

Hi @v-yutliu-msft

This was exactly it, thank you, I didn't think this thread posted yesterday so there is probably a duplicate somewhere, both have solutions so I'll leave them.

Table appears to be working correctly now - thanks.
