DataCard display value

Hello everyone,

does anyone now how to display more fileds or display the second value in a dropdown in a data card field ?

Olwi21_1-1610363955384.png

I can put in the value twice, but it is not what I want. Instead I want to put in a value form another list.

Just to represent it better:

List 1 contains following fields: serialnumber, hardware & manufacterer

List 2 contains following filed: serialnumber (as a look up column form list 1), employee & department

So now I want to put for the second value (picture above) the "hardware" value in. How do I do it exactly ?

Hi @Olwi21

You need to do a join operation on two list.

AddColumns(List1,"Hardware",LookUp(List2, Serialnumber = List1[@Serialnumber],Hardware))

To display this new column add a label and configure Text property as ThisItem.Hardware

Hi,

Add  directly on your gallery property Items.

Hey again,

and thank you until now for your help.

So I tested the code out and it gives me one error, but I cant figure it out. So the code is:

>> AddColumns('IT-Lagerliste (Mitarbeiter)';"Hardwaretyp"; LookUp('IT-Lagerliste (Stammdaten)'; 'IT-Lagerliste (Mitarbeiter)'.Seriennummer = 'IT-Lagerliste (Stammdaten)'[@Seriennummer]; Hardwaretyp))

'IT-Lagerliste (Mitarbeiter)' is my first list.

"Hardwaretyp" is my field that I want to be visible in the drop down info.

'IT-Lagerliste (Stammdaten)' is my second list.

Seriennummer is the field that I want to combine with.

So the error returns on the = position.

Hello,

If you are using a lookup column a 'IT-Lagerliste (Mitarbeiter)'.Seriennummer.Value is needed. Try like this

AddColumns('IT-Lagerliste (Mitarbeiter)';"Hardwaretyp"; LookUp('IT-Lagerliste (Stammdaten)'; 'IT-Lagerliste (Mitarbeiter)'.Seriennummer.Value = 'IT-Lagerliste (Stammdaten)'[@Seriennummer]; Hardwaretyp))
