Is there an option (that I'm clearly misisng) that allows you to set a datatable to not have any rows selected when the page initially loads.
I'd like to make it so that when a user goes into to add a new record, they can eithr fill in the input boxes, or make a selection on the datatable and hit an edit icon, it'll then prepopulate all the input fields and allow the user to overwrite the existing record.
Thanks

Unfortunately, a row must always be selected in a data table per the official MS Documentation. You will have to find another way.

If this is a feature you'd like to see in PowerApps consider submitting a new Idea.
