Datacards are overlapping when I hide other datacards

I am using PowerApps to make the form for Sharepoint.

On my form, based on a drop down, some Datacards are made visible or not.

The problem I am having is: if I select the option that hides the datacards, when I change the option that make them visible again, the datacards are overlapping. See below.

Did anyone ever faced this issue before?

Thanks,

@WarrenBelz ,

I started a new list in SharePoint from scratch. But, at this time I created the column names without using spaces or special characters. When I went to PowerApps, I tried to make the Y position linked to the cards and tried to avoid resizing the cards as much as I could. So far it is working, but I am do not know if this is a bug or I was doing something wrong in the old list.

Hi @omaffud ,

I have faced other issues with Data Card visibility (though not this one). The easiest solution if all hidden cards are on the one line is to set when the variable is true

  • Hide all the controls on the cards
  • Set the height of the card to zero

an example is below

Thanks for the answer.

Quick question, what do you mean about: "Hide all the controls on the cards"? Make all controls visible = false? And then make the height = 0?

Thanks,

@omaffud ,

You make the Visible on the cards to the opposite of the Variable you set. Using the name varHide, the Visibility would be !varHide, so when varHide is true, the Visibility would be false. The card Height would be (using 40 as normal)

If(varHide, 0, 40)
