Datacardvalue context not visible

Hi All,

I have created a (Sum) formula that calculates the values from 5 different datacardvalues and gives a total per line:

(Default)Sum(DataCardValue46+DataCardValue50+DataCardValue48+DataCardValue49+DataCardValue47)

This formula works and shows me the total in DataCardValue51 (so my formula works until now)...

I've added a text format to get the comma's before the decimal with this formula:

(Default)Text(Sum(DataCardValue46+DataCardValue50+DataCardValue48+DataCardValue49+DataCardValue47),"[$-fr-FR]# ###,## 00","fr-FR")

When I check in my text input screen, I see my Default value correctly displayed, but I don't see it on my Datacard in my app (see image).

Probably I am just missing something in the formula or in my settings, but I can't find out what.. I hope someone can help me.

Kind Regards,

Ramon

Re: Datacardvalue context not visible

I made a similar check at my end and this is my observation:

Text(Sum(Value(DataCardValue3_3.Text)+Value(DataCardValue8_1.Text)
+Value(DataCardValue9_1.Text)),"[$-fr-FR]# ###,## 00","fr-FR")

When I change the Format of the DataCardValue to Number, the figure disappeared as you said
(Thus shows only at one end),
but when i change it back to text is shows at both places
My conclusion is Change the Format of the DataCardValue51 to text

Re: Datacardvalue context not visible

Hi @eka24 ,

Could you maybe help me with an issue that has been created with your solution?

Because right now I've set my format to text the field isn't recognized anymore as a number value.

So if I want to make calculations with those fields to other fields it gives errors/no response.

Like for example

Datacardvalue 1 (€1750,50) is formatted with ("[$-fr-FR]# ###,## 00","fr-FR") and set on text so I get €1 750,50 displayed.

Datacardvalue 2 (€2500,75) is formatted with ("[$-fr-FR]# ###,## 00","fr-FR") and set on text so I get €2 500,75 displayed.

If I want to sum datacardvalue 1 + 2 I should expect the result of € 4251,25, but it results in ,00.

So it looks like the datacardvalues won't be recognized as a number value anymore.

Do you have any idea's to solve this?

Thanks!

Ramon
