Datasource name problem when using same list on several SharePoint subsites

I am developing an app that should have 12 datasources. All of them are SharePoint lists on different subsites that are created from the same content type on main site. In order to have the same user experience and because of some external apps, all the lists are named the same.

The problem I encounter is that PowerApps lists datasources only by the main site URL, and since the list names are the same, it just adds suffix "_1" and on at the name of the list, as shown in the picture:

Is there a way to rename the datasource (haven’t found the solution here or anywhere else) since with 12 numbered datasources it would be really hard to distinguish them while developing? Renaming the lists is not an option since it will cause problems like external app not being able to manipulate list data. Any help is appreciated.

Hi @valex ,

I'm afraid that you cannot rename the data source name in PowerApps so far. If you need this feature, consider to add an idea in below forum so that it might be considered for future release:

I presumed that, @v-monli-msft , but asked just in any case if I missed something in the documentation, thank you for your reply. BTW, could you provide me with the link to the "below forum", I cannot see one? 🙂
