WebVersion, SQL Azure, Czech local

If I change DataCard with DateTime field on TextView I can seek DAteTime on scren

but if I change on DateTime picker I get error - Wait for operator for example +,*,&&

In Update is

DateValue2.SelectedDate + Time(Value(HourValue2.Selected.Value);; Value(MinuteValue2.Selected.Value);; 0)

Those double semi-colons should be single semi-colons (in Czech, and other languages that use comma as a decimal point). There must be a bug somewhere that generated this formula.

[In languages that use period as a decimal point, function parameters are separated with commas instead.]

Power Apps

There is currently a known issue with the Date field type for SQL Azure where the Date will not display on PowerApps. Our team has identified the issue and the fix should be out soon (within the next release or two). Please use DateTime in the meantime.

Thanks,

Eric. Software Engineer. PowerApps Staff

Do you have a solution pending the correction of the bug?

Any news on this please?

Is there any news on this issue?

Please?

To be more precise:  when patching a date column with the

UpdateContext({MyPatch: Patch(MyTable, MyRecord, {DateColumn: Date(1970, 1, 4))})

Then the column in Azure SQL DB is updated with the correct value, but MyPatch.DateColumn is blank!

Hi Eric,

It has been more than a year now.

Any news about the fix?

Thanks

So anything involving dates is a no-go in PowerApps with SQL server or Azure and anything using SharePoint is subject to the 2000 row limit... so after development a handful of apps my question is... what am I supposed to use this for in a large organization?

Two years later and there is still no way to use dates with a SQL server data source? I just can't waste anymore time on this...
