Date format outputted to SP list

Hi All,

I am using a datepicker to send and update a SP list. However the format in the SP list is "m/dd/yyyy".

I have my format set in PowerApps as "dd/mm/yyyy" and you can see in the attached image that the datepicker displays as I want, however the output to SP is wrong.

Can someone please advise what is happening here?

Re: Date format outputted to SP list

Hi @Anonymous,

Based on the issue that you mentioned, I have made a test, and the issue is confirmed on my side.

I think this issue is not related to PowerApps itself, instead, it may be the issue within SharePoint. On my side, the default format of Date column is "mm/dd/yyyy".

Actually, the date format within SP list is dictated by Locale. Please check and see if the following article would help in your scenario:

As an alternative, you could consider take a try to create a calculated column within your SP list instead of the Original Date column to display Date value, then type the following formula within the Formula box:

=TEXT([Due Date], "mm/dd/yyyy")

On your side, you should type:

=TEXT([Your Date Column], "mm/dd/yyyy")

Or

=TEXT([Your Date Column], "dd/mm/yyyy")
