Date item with T04:00:00Z at the end

Hello,

I have an issue where the date from SharePoint column shows as 2020-09-14T04:00:00Z I'm not sure how I can get this T04:00:00Z off!

What am I doing wrong? or how to format this field to show only the date?

Could you please tell me if the column saving the date is a Date and time(including time) type in your list?

Based on your description, I think this is a Date and time column including time, first of all, you should edit the column to disable the time option as below:
