DatePicker Setting Question (Allow entry without validation popup)

Hello,

Is there a setting I am missing that would allow someone to type a date into the DatePicker or does the validation box always pop up?

@kgordish ,

If you simply type in the date in the correct format rather than clicking on the icon on the right side, it should allow the date to be changed.
