DatePicker block edit

Hello people,

I have a screen that has two datepicker, I wish that in certain situations they were not editable, but I already put false in the IsEditable property, I already tried true, I also tried conditioning (if) the value of a variable, but they are always allowing editing, selection of dates.

Attempts:
attempt 1) IsEditable: If (varView = true; false; true)
attempt 2) IsEditable: false
attempt 3) IsEditable: true

None worked, I am not able to block the edition.

Please, how can I fix this?

Thanks!!!

Re: DatePicker block edit

Under which conditions don't you want the editable. varView if you can explain.

In the Displaymode of the DatePicker put:

 If (varView;DisplayMode.View; DisplayMode.Edit)

Re: DatePicker block edit

Hi @galdezanni ,

Could you please share a bit more about the "not editable"? You mean could not type date value manually within the DatePicker control, or you do not want the DatePicker dialog to show up?

The IsEditable property of the DatePicker is used to determine if you could type date value manually within the DatePicker control rather than disable the DatePicker Selection dialog.

If you do not want the DatePicker dialog to show up, I agree with @eka24 's thought almost, the DisplayMode property of the DatePicker control could achieve your needs. Please set the DisplayMode property of the DatePicker control to following:

If(
'Specify Proper Condition Here when the DatePicker control should be disbaled'
   DisplayMode.Disabled,
   DisplayMode.Edit
)
