Datepicker activating underlying control

When clicking the "ok" or "cancel" button on a datepicker, the underlying control is also activated. In my case it was a checkbox that was being activated when confirming the selected date. I could not find any other parts of the datepicker that would also activate the underlying controls.

This happened on an Android device. The browser version worked fine.
