Decimal numbers get formated as wholenumbers

Hey there.

I have a flow, that updates data (from PowerApps to Dyanmics CRM).

I use a decimal value. However, it will get transformed to a wholenumber.

If I enter 2,5 it will set the value to 25:

This is probably a beginner question and has just to do with wrong formating but it would be nice if anyone can tell me how to solve this.

hi @v-monli-msft

I found a solution or better, a workaround.

Casting my number as string (string("powerapps variable")) will submit the number correctly format.

Why I don't know, but as long as it works, I'm ok with that.

Hi @Jonas_Portmann,

Would you please share the detailed configuration of your Flow and app with screenshots so that I could try to reproduce your issue? Please also provide the related formulas.

Make sure that in Dyanmics CRM, when you update the data, you could update with decimal value directly and it shows up correctly in CRM

Regards,

Mona

Hi @v-monli-msft

Something interesting, I learned today during testing:

Same scenario I enter 2,5 in my Powerapps and it will be set to 25 in Dynamics.

However, if I now Test my Flow and choose "Using data from previous runs" it will work fine and update the same record to 2.5 rather than 25... Do you or anyone else have an explanation for this behavior?
