Deeplink within app

Hey all,

I've setup my app to deep link from a QR code to a certain screen on my app, but how can I set my app to deeplink to other screens within the app using the apps QR code reader? (eg use apps QR code reader, scan the QR code, and it directs you to a different screen without having to close the app and use a 3rd party QR reader).

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Joel_Stanley

  • Add parameter to the link like Param1=somevalue
https://apps.powerapps.com/play/2082100d-0000-0000-0000-996b984e1b44?tenantId=heacb8c3-000-0000-0000-d45c69b0f889?Param1=SomeValue
  • On the app start. Navigate screen based on the parameter value

With(
   {sNavigation:Param("Param1")},
   Switch(
      sNavigation,
      "1" ,
      Navigate(Screen1,ScreenTransition.None),
      "2" ,
      Navigate(Screen2,ScreenTransition.None)
   )
)

Hey @StalinPonnusamy This works if I'm using the QR code from outside the app, but not within for screen to screen which is my issue

We can do a similar code OnScan property like

Set(
    DisplayName,
    BarcodeScanner1.Value
);
Switch(
      DisplayName,
      "1" ,
      Navigate(Screen1,ScreenTransition.Fade),
      "2" ,
      Navigate(EditScreen1,ScreenTransition.Fade)
   )
