Default value for Combobox using lookup

Hi,

Issue : When creating a new record I want my dropdown to be blank and haven't found a way to acheive that, dropdown has got some value pre-selected, so I thought of going with Combobox as we can have something like below for DefaultselectedItems for combobox.

If(NewRecord,{DisplayName:""},{DisplayName: Parent.Default})

I was using lookup for linking between databases something like below for default property but this doesn't work with ComboBox,

Is there any workaround to acheive this?

If(NewRecord,"",LookUp(col3,col3[@Organisation_ID]=ThisItem.Organisation_ID,Organisation_Name))

Thanks in Advance

Manoj

Re: Default value for Combobox using lookup

Hi @kullurumanoj,

What is your data source in this case? Also, is "col3" the same data source that you used in this Edit Form? Or did you use Patch to create items rather than an Edit Form?

Regards,

Mona
