Defeault save button vs custom save button (Collect)

hey all,

have a form where i use Collect onselect of a button... this works great. the problem is that the form has the default buttons on top (SAVE, Cancel,....). The problem is that i dont know how to restrict the user from using the top button... that button will not save the whole list (i have some connectors to other sharepont lists and the default button saves only those fields that are on same site, sa far i can tell....)

So the ultimative question is:

  1. How to disable the SAVE button in top bar- this seems to be impossible(?)
  2. How to configure the SAVE button in top bar so it performs the collect (i tried to add collect function to list "onSuccess" but this is producing two entries and non of them seems to be really fine)
  3. any other ideas?

Hi @Sifu

Unfortunately, it's not possible to hide the save and cancel buttons.

You can vote for this feature through the post in the ideas forum here...

There's also a workaround that you can try here which involves adding a new page with an iFrame.
