Hi,

Could you please provide the formula you are using for the gallery's items? The delegation issue will likely be around which functions you are using within the formula, so we will need to view that in order to help you best 🙂

Cheers,

ManCat

Hi @akbarmahfuzalam ,,

Please have a read of my blog on Delegation and see if anything there suits your requirements.

Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

@WarrenBelz  And @iAm_ManCat ,

All the filter are ComboBox

On Level1

Items= Distinct(CategoryDefinition,'Level 1')

Level 2

Items = Filter(CategoryDefinition, 'Level 1'=CMBlevel1.Selected.Result).'Level 2'

On Level 3

Items = Filter(CategoryDefinition, 'Level 2'=CMBlevel2.Selected.'Level 2').'Level 3'
On Level 4
Items = Filter(CategoryDefinition, 'Level 3'=CMBlevel3.Selected.'Level 3').'Level 4'
On Level 5
Items= Filter(CategoryDefinition, 'Level 4'=CMBlevel4.Selected.'Level 4').'Level 5'
On Level 6

Items = Filter(CategoryDefinition, 'Level 5'=CMBlevel5.Selected.'Level 5').'Level 6'

On the Gallery= Item

Filter(CategoryDefinition,'Level 1'=CMBlevel1.Selected.Result And 'Level 2'=CMBlevel2.Selected.'Level 2' And 'Level 3'=CMBlevel3.Selected.'Level 3' And 'Level 4'=CMBlevel4.Selected.'Level 4' And 'Level 5'=CMBlevel5.Selected.'Level 5' And 'Level 6'=CMBlevel6.Selected.'Level

Challenges

1. But its not giving me the result when there is no entry in the SharePoint List on the Level 3 , 4 5 or even in the level 6.
2. How do i tackle the limit of 2000 rows.
3. Many rows in SP List don't have all the level (Level1,2,3,4,5,6,7 ) information. Few have information till Level 2 and some of them have till level 4 or level 5, and maximum is having till level 6.

Hi @akbarmahfuzalam,

Ok, I think the issue here is that you are using AND, and you don't have any considerations for when no item is selected from the dropdowns

Maybe something like this would help:

Filter(
       CategoryDefinition,

       IsBlank(CMBlevel1.Selected.Result)

       'Level 1'=CMBlevel1.Selected.Result,

       IsBlank(CMBlevel2.Selected.'Level 2')

       'Level 2'=CMBlevel2.Selected.'Level 2'

       IsBlank(CMBlevel3.Selected.'Level 3')

       'Level 3'=CMBlevel3.Selected.'Level 3'

       IsBlank(CMBlevel4.Selected.'Level 4')

       'Level 4'=CMBlevel4.Selected.'Level 4'

       IsBlank(CMBlevel5.Selected.'Level 5')

       'Level 5'=CMBlevel5.Selected.'Level 5'

       IsBlank(CMBlevel6.Selected.'Level 6')

       'Level 6'=CMBlevel6.Selected.'Level 6'
)

Could you give that a try and let me know if there's any issues?

Thanks,

Sancho

Getting an error on IsBlank

@akbarmahfuzalam

The formula was just missing some commas...

Filter(
       CategoryDefinition,

       IsBlank(CMBlevel1.Selected.Result)

       'Level 1'=CMBlevel1.Selected.Result,

       IsBlank(CMBlevel2.Selected.'Level 2')

       'Level 2'=CMBlevel2.Selected.'Level 2',

       IsBlank(CMBlevel3.Selected.'Level 3')

       'Level 3'=CMBlevel3.Selected.'Level 3',

       IsBlank(CMBlevel4.Selected.'Level 4')

       'Level 4'=CMBlevel4.Selected.'Level 4',

       IsBlank(CMBlevel5.Selected.'Level 5')

       'Level 5'=CMBlevel5.Selected.'Level 5',

       IsBlank(CMBlevel6.Selected.'Level 6')

       'Level 6'=CMBlevel6.Selected.'Level 6'
)

@akbarmahfuzalam

Where are you seeing delegation issues?

Also, you indicated a website in your picture but said image.  Are you looking for an image to be displayed or a website?

I have 5000 data in SharePoint but only 2000 data I am able to filter and showcase in the PowerApps.

Rest I am not able to filter and show accordingly in the gallery.

So here in the filter Level1 itself i am not able to get all the data which is there in the SP List i.e. 4908 items.

I want to know any workaround for overcome this.
