Delegation warning SP Column

Hi there,

Quick question here?

I have a column in sharepoint where my app gets the first value in that column and add the next consecutive value. i.e if the number is 9000 the new one will be 9001

I have the app set to 500 items and we already surpass that number. So now we are getting the delegation warning. Below is the formula. Any possible workaround to fix this?

First(Sort('Jobs',Value(Inspections),Descending)).Inspections+1

Thanks in advance.

@sajarac

If your Inspections column is numeric, then you do not need to use Value.  Using a formula in your criteria will lead to delegation warnings.

So, your formula should be:

With({_items: Sort('Jobs', Inspections, Descending)},
    First(_items).Inspections + 1
)

I hope this is helpful for you.

@sajarac First is a non-delegable function.
Try this,

With(
	{varJobs: Sort('Jobs',Value(Inspections),Descending)};
	First(varJobs).Inspections+1
)

@sajarac change the semicolon before First to a comma.

Changed, but the column "Inspections" which is a number still complaining and producing a delegation warning.

@sajarac where is the warning? In the Sort or First?

The sort

@sajarac then bring that also along with the First.
