Delete column from a collection

I have a collection that I need to delete a column from, but I cannot find any documentation on how to do so. I understand that there's the DropColumns function, but that does not allow me to permanently remove the unneeded column from my collection. Is there any functionality to permanently delete an unneeded column from a collection?

I figured this out, in case anyone else runs into a similar instance as me. My collection's column was in use by other areas of the app that called upon it. When I removed those dependencies, the unused column disappeared the next time I ClearCollected it. Hopefully, this helps others out!
