Different data cards in form depending on selected gallery item

Hi,

I am building an app to manage project from different colleagues.

On the left i have a dropdown to select the person which is connected to a gallery which shows the active projects. The SharePoint list behind this app has about 20 columns, but not every column is relevant for every kind of project.

So for example we have 5 different kind of projects. ("soort")

And every project has about 8 different data cards (columns) that should be possible to alter using a submit form.

Is it possible to show a different form after gallery item has been selected based on type of project?

Hope you can help!

Kind regards,

Roger

Yes, each project record should have a column called ProjectType.  It would have a values such as “Type1”, “Type2”, “Type3”.

Suppose you click on a record in the gallery having “Type1”.  Clicking the gallery takes you to the Form screen.

For any Cards you want to be visible for Type1 use this code in the Visible property.

Gallery1.Selected.ProjectType

If you want a Card visible for Type1 and Type2 do this.

Gallery1.Selected.ProjectType in ["Type1", "Type2"]

Hi @mdevaney ,

Thank you for your reply. I tried it on the first 2 datacards and it works perfect!

Now i hope the data cards won't go jumping all over the place :).

Kind regards,

Roger

@Rogermiddleton

The easiest way to ensure DataCards will not go hoping all over the place is to make them all a uniform size and use a single column layout 🙂
