Disable Field in a form for 5 minutes after it has been submitted

Good day,

I would like to find a solution to disable a field in PowerApps for 5 minutes after a form has been submitted.

Background:

1. Form is created in MS Forms and saved in a SharePoint List.

2.  The Form can then be viewed or edited in PowerApps, and the option to submit back to SharePoint.

Requirement:

a) The Temperature is captured within the Powerapp, after the first temperature is recorded and the form is submitted. The user should not be able to record the second temperature within 5 minutes of the first temperature being submitted.

b) However the Second Temperature cannot be recorded after 30 minutes has elapsed.

Is this possible? @RandyHayes

Here are some my thoughts on how you could approach this issue.

Since you know the time of the first temperature you should be able to use that information to disable the second temperature field if it is within 5 minutes or exceeds 30 minutes of the first temperature. If the app is left open after the first temperature is saved then you will want to use the timer control to check every minute and then update a variable that you would use in the Display Mode property of the field(s) you are using to capture the data.

Another option is to build the logic into the Save button to prevent the data from being saved if it isn't within that 5-30 minute window. If they click the save button and it isn't time then use the Notify() to let them know why it can't be saved at this time.
