Display Form from different data source

I have a gallery that uses a D365 entity with the name "Hours". Now I want the use the data in the gallery to create a activity record in D365(Different entity). It seems that is not possible to use "browsegallery.selected" as item in a form. How can I resolve this?

hi @Anonymous,

when the form and the gallery data sources are not exactly the same, you need to be more specific in the forms items property. The best way is to use a lookup() to the primary key of the data source in the gallery. Ie. lookup(data source, as the items property of the form where Fid is the foreign key in the second entity. Hope that helps.

Hi Drrickryp,

There is no relationship between the entities.
