Display submitted item in "thanks for submission"

Hey!

So I have this form, where my employees can order new hardware - When they have submitted the form, I have a screen saying think you for your submission, and then I would like to display the item they just submitted.

I have tried the display form, but it does not work?

Re: Display submitted item in "thanks for submission"

Hi @JHS2020 ,

@mdevaney's workaround does work for the standalone canvas app.

In order to make it also work for the PowerApps custom form for SharePoint, please remove the 'ResetForm(SharePointForm1); RequestHide()' code in OnSuccess property of SharePointForm1.

The ResetForm function resets the LastSubmit property of form, so the 'SharePointForm1.LastSubmit.ID' returns blank, which leads to the issue you are facing.

Hope this helps.

Re: Display submitted item in "thanks for submission"

Hi @JHS2020 ,

You can use a display form to display the last submitted item of your other form by using LastSubmit in the Item property of the display form ie:

SharePointForm1.LastSubmit

@JHS2020

Do you want to display the last item submitted inside of a different form?

Set the datasource of your new form to

your_datasource_name

Then make the Item proerty this

LookUp(your_datasource_name, ID=SharePointForm1.LastSubmit.ID)
