Distinct Filter- HELP

Can some help with the syntax to accomplish this task.

1. Compare two columns in a table one is fiscal year and the  other is course title.  If fiscal year is let say 2017 return the distinct a list of distinct course titles for that year.

 

The result should look like this

 

Subject(s) : ENG, JRN, SPE,

 

FY: 2017

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Yes, we could use the following formula to filter the table as you described:

Distinct(
         Filter(Table, FiscalYear="2017"), 
         Course
          )

Distinct returns a one-column table that contains the results, with duplicate values removed.
