Distinct Filter dropdown and lable

Ugh I'm stuck on a simple syntax that I've done a million times but brain is not computing at the moment.

I have a Dropdown (DD1) which is populates from a datasource  (Datsource1)  which has the following fields Field1 and Field2   The dropdown uses Field1  and I want to put the corresponding Field2  in a label and it just ain't work'n !! I know I'm doing something very stupid.   Here's what I have  which is giving error.  (This is in the label)

Distinct(Filter(Datasource1,Field1=DD1.Selected.Field1),Field2).Result

TIA

Try

LookUp(Datasource1,Field1=DD1.Selected.Result,Field2)

Thanks @eka24  unfortunately that doesn't work.  .Result isn't an option after  DD1.Selected.

It depends on the formula on the dropdown. Try any of the following;

LookUp(Datasource1,Field1=DD1.Selected.Value,Field2)

Or

LookUp(Datasource1,Field1=DD1.Selected.ColumnName,Field2)

If you still have issues, show the formula on the dropdown

Thanks, yeah I had already tried your 2nd option and variations of it !

Here's what's in the dropdown

Filter('DataSource1,CatID=DCVCatID.Text)

What error did you get. Instead, can you show a screenshot of the formula. That would help.
