Downloading Photos from Onedrive to PowerApp Collection

I'm working on an App that needs to be usable offline. As such, I've put in logic to allow the user to download data from an excel file in a onedrive.

A major part of this app will be the ability to take pictures of equipment. I would also like the user to be able to download old pictures.

If I try to collect directly from the excel table datasource, I can get at all of the text data, but the image is blank. Here's the code:

Collect(ImageTest, {Image: First(PhotoOverview).Link})

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Downloading Photos from Onedrive to PowerApp Collection

Hi @Joab89,

My understanding is that you have an Excel table stored in OneDrive which have a column of images, and you want to collect these exsiting images in PowerApps.

To make images from Excel table recognize by PowerApps, the column name in Excel file need to be "Image [image]". And the images need to be stored in an OneDrive folder. For example, my images are stored in an OneDrive folder named "New Microsoft Excel Worksheet_images", then the path column in my table should be like:

Capture.PNG

Auto-create the app using this table and the images would show in a BrowseGallery. Add a button and set the OnSelect property to:

Collect(ImageTest,BrowseGallery1.AllItems)

Capture.PNG

Preview the app and cilck on the button, a ImageTest collection is created with all items in the gallery:

Capture.PNG

Re: Downloading Photos from Onedrive to PowerApp Collection

Hello,

Is it possible to download multiple files or documents within the gallery, in my case i have gallery which has a data source from document library in Sharepoint.

And i have added the checkbox controller to the gallery where it acts as "Select All" or "Select", so that when needed user can select all checkbox by clicking on "Select All" and for download  how do i establish with the code to download button for multiple files? However i can dowload or launch the single file at a time.

Thanks and Regards,

Nikhil.
