I am currently working on an application to manage meetings. On one of the screens I would like to use a drop-down where the items within it are filtered based on meetings that haven't been saved and filter out the meetings that are still in the future:
Sort(Filter(Meetings, Saved = "No", 'Start Time' < Today()),'Start Time',Descending)
"Saved" is a Yes/No Column, "Start Time" is the beginning (hour +date) of the meeting. As can be seen this is then sorted by the 'start time' of the meeting in a descending way. Only problem is that this doesn't work. I get a delegation error, however, I only have about 10 items in my meetings list on SharePoint. And when I use the following formula (without filtering out the future meetings):
Sort(Filter(Meetings, Saved = "No"),'Start Time',Descending)
Then it works without a problem! Only thing is I don't want to be able to select future meetings here.
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can use Collection of your list instead of direct list.
First you have to create a collection - OnVisible of screen - ClearCollect(collMeetings,'Meetings')
Then, Your formula should be:
Sort(Filter(collMeetings, Saved = "No", 'Start Time' < Today()),'Start Time',Descending).
Please mark this solution as solved if it solved your issue.
