Drop Down Powerapp Blank

Hi, I have 2 drop downs both getting data from Lookup Columns in sharepoint.

Drop down 2 has Items as - Choices([@Records].'Legal entity') and displays the choices correctly.

Drop down 1 has Items as -Choices([@Records].'Consolidation level') and has blank

In this case, we have 2 SP lists (1. Records and 2. Base Data). SP List "Records" has Lookup to the field called "Consolidation Level" in "Base Data" SP List.

Column "Consolidation Level" is a choice field and Schema name or internal name is "ConsolidationChoice".

So set the Items property of Dropdown to

Choices([@'Base Data'].'Consolidation level (ConsolidationChoice)')

Hi @Vaibhav_k

I have seen this issue. I noticed this happens when the dropdown has different items property previously. In general, this happens when you copy the dropdown and paste it. Even though your item's property shows but is not really taken into consideration.

  • Just remove the items and add them back
  • Make it some error and correct it
  • Remove the control and add a new one

Hi @StalinPonnusamy, tried the suggestion but did not help. Getting same error.

Hi @Vaibhav_k

  • Can you share the error, please?
  • Can you try Choices([@Records].'Consolidation level').Value

I assume you are using Dropdown control not Combo box.

Thanks,

Yes @StalinPonnusamy , I am using Drop Down list. I have tried the value. But again its blank
