DropDown/ComboBox Chevron width

Please be so kind as to read my full post before responding.

Thank you for your consideration.

When increasing the height of ComboBox/Drop Down controls, e.g. to accomodate a large screen on a tablet, the chevron becomes an ugly anisotropic mess.
The screenshots show a drop down (above) and a combox box (below) with height 90.

The (advanced) properties, and the documentation

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/controls/control-drop-down

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/controls/control-combo-box

seem to contain nothing on Chevron properties except background and foreground color.

My questions:

  1. Is there like a recommended maximum height/size to use with combobox and pulldown so that the chevron still looks decent?
  2. Are more, in particular a width, properties for those Chevrons planned in a future version?
  3. Do I really have to submit an idea for this?

Re: DropDown/ComboBox Chevron width

Hi @SaWu ,

For your first question, the recommended maximum height/size to use with combobox and Dropdown box is 70.

For your second question, currently, separated properties for chevrons are not supported within ComboBox control and Dropdown control in PowerApps.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

Re: DropDown/ComboBox Chevron width

Hi @v-xida-msft

I am guessing the same applies to the Icon embedded in the DatePicker control with which I noticed the same issuses I'm having with Chevron Icon of DropDown/ComboBox
