DropDown Control

Hi everyone!

When I create a Sharepoint list form using Customize forms, the dropdown list values in the form aren't saved when I click save.

I click on Edit Form in Sharepoint list, thenchange the dropdown to one of the values, click save, then click Edit form, and the values aren't saved!

How can I solve this? it seems that the selected value in the dropdown list isn't suppose to save.

Thanks.

Re: DropDown Control

Why are you creating a custom dropdown and saving it to SharePoint instead of creating the choice field in SharePoint and then using the PowerApps generated SharePoint field on your form? The issue is that the SubmitForm doesn't know how to save your custom field to SharePoint. This can be done but you will need to use the Patch function where you can format the data that is being saved to SharePoint.

Re: DropDown Control

What type of column is it SharePoint (Choice, Lookup, etc)? Did you make any changes to form or is this how it worked after the Custom Form was auto generated. Can you provide a screenshot of the Advance properties pane in PowerApps for the Dropdown control?

Re: DropDown Control

I added a new dropdown to a custome card.  The custome card itself shouldn't appear in the list, it should appear in the form when I click Edit.

what happen is, when I Edit the form from Sharepoint list, save it,  and then Edit it again the value of the dropdown doesn't save.

Editing and Saving:

Clicking the item and Editing it again:
