DropDown Default Collection

I created a Collection to have a blank rule in my drop down. This collection is loaded on screen visible and works fine.

However when I have saved a record and i want to recall it the dropdown does not show the selected value (one that is saved in sharepoint list)

I checked the sharepoint list and the record is created and value from dropdown stored.

In the Default Propery of the dropdown i do a lookup of that value..... and when  i place it in a text field it is correct so why the hell is it not visible in the dropdown as selected item when i load the screen? what do i do wrong

LookUp(BEWONERS_CARE, CustomerID=OpsCare_CustomerID.Text,Title)

Hi @Djack

The reason it works in a text control and not in a dropdown control, is the schema of inputs. Can you share the Items property of the dropdown control? What kind of source is BEWONERS_CARE?

Also, try changing the expression to:

LookUp(BEWONERS_CARE, CustomerID=OpsCare_CustomerID.Text).Title

Hope this Helps!

BEWONERS_CARE is a simple sharepoint list.

The complete app hangs together with sharepoint lists.

 LookUp(BEWONERS_CARE, CustomerID=OpsCare_CustomerID.Text).KATZ

Changing it did not work ....

@Djack

What is the items property of the dropdown control? What is the schema of the SP list and the collection? What is the expression used to create collection? If you can share more details about the app configuration, we might be able to help you better.

Hope this Helps!

ClearCollect(ColKatz,{Title:" "});
Collect(ColKatz,LIJST_KATZ);

Sharepoint List that I load in to the Collection ColKatz like shown above.

If you see on the default (right) you see that the value should be O

This because i do a

LookUp(BEWONERS_CARE, CustomerID=OpsCare_CustomerID.Text).KATZ

And like shown below the BEWONERS_CARE does store the O ....
