DropDown value disappeard in editform

Hello,

I`ve create new Dropdown selection in newfrom which is having default filtered value based on another (keyword) list. Below is the defualt formula :

Filter(Keyword,Title="Function").KeywordValue

SharePoint 'Keyword List' :

4.png

Output in dropdown is which is as expected :

5.png

But the issue is, when I saved this form and then try to edit this again, all the values is blanked out to default value.

I checked the editform item and datasource properties, which is okay.

Item: Gallery.Selected

DisplayForm:

2.pngDisplay Form3.pngEditForm

Data Source: WorkflowList

Re: DropDown value disappeard in editform

Phew, I figured it out, if we select - DefaultSelectedItems - Filter(Split(ThisItem.FieldName,","),Trim(Result)<>"").

It will work.

Thanks

Re: DropDown value disappeard in editform

Update: If I change the Default value of combobox field to "Thisitem.Function <Function is the field name > then it shows the values.

but now the issue is, it is working well on single selection, but if it is mulitple selection then it is having other issue.

The example is : I have save the values in one text field  concat with "," (as the selection is mulit value through combobox)

FieldValue : Team1,Team2

Now If I changed its defualt value to - ThisItem.FieldValue, it is giving me error : This property expects records value, but this rule produces incompatible text values".
