Dropdown Filter

So i have a sharepoint list which has three drop down feilds Year,Month and Services  and the last feild is a text feild with the Value and Contact Owner.

 

Now the first three feilds which is Year Month i want it to update it automatically like 2020 which is the year and Month based on specific month powerapps should udpate it .

 

Secondly i have few services which are drop down and for each service there is a Contact Owner so based on the Service i Select the contact owner should auto populate.

 

Can you pelase help me is guiding on how to do it?

For your first question, it sounds like you always want the current year and month to be the default option when creating a new record.  To do that you would put this code in each field box.  Any dropdowns would need to have the year/month as an option to be selected.

 

Year(Today())  //year is output as a 4 digit number
Month(Today())  //month is output as a number

Hi @SKidambi2 ,

Do you want to automatically generate data in the drop downs?
Could you tell me

1)the data source of feilds Year,Month?

2)the items of the three drop downs?
If feilds Year,Month are number text, then you could set year drop down's Items:

[2000,2001,2002,......,2020,2021,...]

 set year drop down's Default:

Year(Now())

 set Month drop down's Items:

[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12]

  set Month drop down's Default:

Month(Now())

Since I do not know the items of  Services drop down, so I could not make sure use what formula to set this drop down's Default.

Usually, we use this to get current user's Name:

User().FullName
