Hi,
I am looking to use a button to invoke the click of a drop down.
In detail, I am using a dropdown inside a gallery which is inside another gallery. If I click on one dropdown, I would like to see the list from dropdowns with same values in the parent gallery.
In simple , Is there anyways we can invoke the click of a drop down using onselect of other control?
Please can you give a screenshot
Hi @eka24 ,
I have attached a screenshot, where 5 weekdays are part of a parent gallery. Inside each weekday, there is another gallery from 1-5.
If I click on say "1" on Monday, I expect to see all the dropdown of "1" across all 5 days to be clicked. So that with one click, I see view all the dropdowns of "1" for all 5 days.
Can you please let me know if my explanation is clear?
You cannot simulate clicking a dropdown by either a button or another dropdown. However, if all are expected to have the same value, you can set the dropdown selected value for other dropdowns by using a button or another dropdown. You might have already known this but just wanted to put it out there.
Can you please specify why you would like this behavior? Asking because there may be another way to get to the end result.
