Dropdown/filter value based on another dropdown/filter field from another screen

Hi there, I have been trying to achieve the following but without any success.

I have a dropdown on "screen 1" and also an edit button in the datacard/form. Once you select edit you go to another screen (screen 2) where you can edit the "contract", but the selection on screen 2 is not the same as on screen 1.

For example: if the dropdown filter on screen 1 consists of: cars, bikes, airplanes, UFO's, tanks, ships etc.

And if I select bikes, I want bikes to show up on the dropdown filter on screen 2. But on screen 2 it is always on cars.

This could be confusing because if someone filters on screen 1 at ships and pressed the edit button, it will show cars on the dropdown in screen 2 which the user may forget and thus change the contract wrongly.

Does someone know a solution? Thanks in advance!

Do both drop downs use the same data source? You can try setting the Default property of the second drop down equal to Dropdown1.SelectedText.Value. If all you're doing is displaying the value of what was selected on Screen1, I'm unsure why they'd need the option to see the same drop down again on Screen2, so maybe I misunderstood the question a bit.

Thanks this did work! Except I only used Dropdown1.SelectedText.
I thought I had tried this before, but I guess not since it works now... thank you very much!
