Dropdown list not sorting by SharePoint People column

Hello,

Can anyone help me how to sort a dropdown list based on People field?

Dropdown is linked to SharePoint field field using the following code

Sort(Distinct(PendingWith.DisplayName),Descending)

If I change it to

Sort(Distinct(PendingWith.DisplayName),PendingWith,Descending)

it doesnt work. Can someone help correct it?

Thanks.

Re: Dropdown list not sorting by SharePoint People column

Distinct returns a column named Result, so try the formula like this:

Sort(Distinct(PendingWith.DisplayName),Result,Descending)

Re: Dropdown list not sorting by SharePoint People column

Hi @AKB_2K ,

Is PendingWith the column name of this person and group field? If so, the formula should be:

Sort(Distinct(ListName,PendingWith.DisplayName),Result,Descending)
