Dropdown selection updating ALL Data Cards

Hi,

I am very new to Power Apps so I apologize in advance if this is a silly question...

When I make a selection in my dropdown it updates ALL the data in every datacard with my selection!

My data is being pulled from Excel ...One Drive

Dropdown Formula

Items.....Distinct(Table1,Area)

Default.....Blank

Gallery Formula

Text.......Dropdown_Area.SelectedText.Value

I would like to just update the one relevant card in my dropdown when I make a selection in my dropdown and then update my spreadsheet!

I am not sure if more information is needed but please can someone help me with this as I have spent 2 days trying to figure this out and its probably a simple solution ....

Thanks in advance!!

Hi,

Thank for replying

I want to be able to

1) make a selection in my dropdown that

2) updates the “relevant“ data card (Asset Number) only in the gallery with the text I choose in my drop down AND

3) update my excel spreadsheet with the new data

hope that helps

I think that firstly I will need to match the

If the Gallery and the dropdown are on the same screen:

Filter (Table1,Area=Dropdown_Area.Selected.Result)

If on different page, then at the start of the OnSelect of the Navigate button put:

Set(MySelected,Dropdown_Area.Selected.Result)

For instance if you have on navigation button: Navigate (Screen1) modify it to;

Set(MySelected,Dropdown_Area.Selected.Result); Navigate (Screen1)

Then Filter Gallery as;

Filter (Table1,Area=MySelected)

------------
