Duplicate Column Names in Seperate Sharepoint Lists

I am trying to create a Pie Chart. Unfortunately the labels for the chart must be the first column, which would be the Title column for a Sharepoint List. Because I can't change the internal name of the Column "Title" to something else, I have a problem with the formula I use to set the data for the table. Both the workOrderProjects and the userRoles Lists have a Title Column, so I can't seem to call the title column without getting an error.

Filter(UserRoles, LookUp(workOrderProjects, nameOfWorkerToAssign=Title).fiscalYearCreated=Dropdown1_1.Selected.Value).Title

Does anyone have a way to work around this?

Here is the current error message I am getting.

The chart was working fine earlier when I just had a seperate column that wasn't named Title, but then the labels were listed wrong.

Re: Duplicate Column Names in Seperate Sharepoint Lists

Hi @Alerts_OM_USA,

I think the issue here should be caused by the Title used in the lookup function.

Could you please explain the aim of the formula?

Which list the Title (within the lookup function) belongs to?

We could take use of the Renamecolumns () function to rename one of the Title field to Title1.

For example, if the Title within the lookup belongs to UserRoles,

Then we could change the formula as below:

Filter(UserRoles, LookUp(RenameColumns(workOrderProjects, "Title", "Title1" ), nameOfWorkerToAssign=Title).fiscalYearCreated=Dropdown1_1.Selected.Value).Title

Function reference:

AddColumns, DropColumns, RenameColumns, and ShowColumns function in PowerApps

Michael
