Dynamic Hyperlinked Icon from Google Sheets

Hello Everyone,

I had made a simple app which displays the data from a google sheet in accordance to the filter selected from the drop down menu. It is a static data app. But I also want to redirect the user to a specific (unique to each drop-down entry) URL on clicking an icon. I have tried Launch("url") but it does not provide dynamic capabilities and a single link remains freezed in the icon. Please help by suggesting a workaround. I have attached the screenshots here.

P.S. - The URLs are unique for each Asset code and filled in the google sheets.

Re: Dynamic Hyperlinked Icon from Google Sheets

@pkrajput

Consider the following example.

You have a dropdown with the Items property set to the following code

["1","2","3"]

You also have a button.  When the user clicks the button a web page will be launched.  The URL is determined by the selection made in the dropdown.

Put this code in the OnSelect property of your button.

Switch(
    Dropdown1.SelectedText.Value,
    "1",Launch("www.google.com"),
    "2",Launch("www.msn.com"),
    "3",Launch("www.yahoo.com")
);

Do the example here and then modify the code to work in your own app!
