Easiest way to copy information to a sharepoint list from an excel file?

Hello!

I am using an application that has sharepoint as a datasource. This Sharepoint list needs to be replaced each few weeks. Either because there is information that needs to be added or to be removed.

I've now just exported it from an excel file to sharepoint. I was kind of looking for an easier way to do this, I was looking to copy information inside of the sharepoint list but sadly this is not introduced to sharepoint yet. What is the easiest way to get my information from an excel file to a sharepoint list?

You can't copy from the SharePoint list but you can export it to excel and then copy items.

You should look at Flow (Power Automate) for this. You could have one that runs on a certain day or just when you click on it and clears everything or only items that meet a certain criteria. If you have the excel file in an accessible location (OneDrive, SharePoint) then you could put items on it, take items off. Lot's you can do there.

Hello, thank you for your answer @rebeccas

I want to get information from excel to sharepoint. Exporting it takes ages and is too slow in my opinion. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes, I do have a big file though, 66.000 rows.

I have made a post at the power automate already but I think there is a maximum of only 8 rows and I got like 66.000 rows so I don't think that is the best option. Although I can have the file to work at a minimum of 8000 rows, it still wont work.
