Edit listbox SharePoint choice data

I am not doing an EditForm for this, but I have a screen that shows all the user data for a selected item.  The only issue I have with the screen is the listbox control.  It works for the New record as the user is selecting from the Choice column from a SharePoint list.  When they want to edit, I have a gallery pulling the record and need it now to show the user their selected items and be able to edit that column.  I thought this could be done using a Filter or Lookup in the Default property, but it is not working.  Thanks for any help here.

A ListBox does not allow for you to select more than one item.

If you want to show multiple selections, I would suggest using some other control besides listbox.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Looking at some other suggestions, I see that Combobox will do what I am looking for, or should, correct?

A ComboBox will provide the ability to have several items selected.  However, the look of it is different as compared to a ListBox.

If you want the ListBox "style", then the only option is to craft your own by using a Gallery.

Okay, I do believe a combobox should work in this case.  It is less than ten selections they can make.  I appreciate your help.

Very good!  If that works - go for it!

A Listbox DOES allow you to select multiple items. But you cannot set the default?

Below are screenshots of the relevant properties, and multi-select in action.
