Editing Data Over Multiple Sheets on Excel

Hello All!

I have a bit of a complicated question.

My design is to mark off whether items are present, doing this I have a gallery with a checkmark and a X icon. I need it so when you press the checkmark, it writes an X on an excel sheet, and when you press the X, it writes nothing indicating the item is not present.

On the excel sheet, I have 12 sheets labeled Jan-Dec each sheet having the keys labeled on the left, dates along the top with 1-30.

I'm sorry if this is super complicated but any help with what I need to do in regards to writing of the funciton of the checkmark would be grateful.

Thanks

Hi,

Don't really use Excel as a data source myself, so I apologise if this is not applicable.

But I would be looking to the OnCheck and OnUnCheck properties of the checkbox. You should be safe to then use the Gallery.Selected to reference the instance of the property within the selected Gallery item in your update/patch to Excel statement.

If that doesn't seem to work, you could populate a variable on the checking/unchecking of the box and then execute in a similar fashion to the above but reference the variable value in the update/patch

Great! I will definitely look into this.

I appreciate your help on this.
