Hi all,
We have a mailbox which is crawled for emails. If a received email matches the mailbox's alias, the email is serviced into a system outside of 365.
I have a Power App that sends an email to the mailbox alias. Emails from within our 365 tenant get resolved to the primary address. When the email from the PowerApp is received by the mailbox, it says it is addressed to the primary address, not the alias. The crawler does not identify the email and it doe snot get passed to the external system.
Can anybody help with how we can stop the address from resolving and ensure that the arriving email has the alias in the recipient field? Dummy code below:
Office365.SendEmail("alias@mailbox.com",Subject, Body));

Hi @Bolton ,
I think this cannot be achieved so far in PowerApps. You could try to submit an idea in below forum:

Hi Mona,
Thanks for the suggestion. I notice this happens from Outlook mailboxes too, so it would seem that it would need to be a change with whatever handles the mail routing. Cheers
