Enable Icon to Displaymode.Edit while form is Displaymode.View

Hi guys,

I am trying to change a icon's displaymode to Edit while frmEditTraining is in View mode. The icon is in the duration_in_days datacard.

I added the formula below on both the duration_in_days datacard and the icon displaymode property to change the displaymode to edit but it does not work.

The icon would need to be in edit mode so i can collapse datacards like in the picture below.

anyone knows a good workaround? The icon needs to be in the datacard/form for positioning/responsive design reasons

Kind Regards,

Anthony

@AnthonyDo When the Form is in View Mode this will be applied to all the controls. So, If the icon is inside the form, the icon will also be in View Mode.

A workaround would be to put individual datacards in view mode rather than the whole form.

You can set a variable and use this variable to determine the display mode.

Try this:

If( frmEditTraining.DisplayMode = View,

Edit, View)

@AnthonyDo Try this,

If(
    frmEditTraining.Mode=FormMode.View,
    DisplayMode.Edit,
    DisplayMode.View
)

Hi @CNT ,

Still does not work, can anyone confirm if this is possible?

Kind regards,

Anthony
